how to take care of your jewelry
All my pieces are designed, hand-made and hand-finished in New York City. Each piece is unique and has custom marks and indents, which are a result of the crafting process.
The jewelry is cast in raw Gold, Silver or Bronze.
You are acquiring a future heirloom, as solid pieces are extremely durable and lasts forever. It will never lose its color and power.
Gold, Silver and Bronze are strong metals, and will not get damaged by washing or from applying hand sanitizer or lotion, so you DON'T have to remove your jewelry to wash your hands, or do anything else.
I use my pieces constantly, even on the beach. Once your beach season is over, all you have to do is to fill a bowl with water and dish soap, and leave your pieces there for a few minutes - and they will be shinning and ready to go again!
Each handcrafted piece includes a beautiful box, a cotton bag and a custom polish cloth which you can use to buff the jewelry once it is dry.
BRONZE
Bronze has a wonderful warm hue mimicking 14K gold. The great civilizations of the old world worked in bronze for art.
Bronze will develop a patina over time when exposed to the elements.
Some people prefer the color slightly darker, however, if you prefer the lighter finish then keeping it in the small jewelry bag it comes in or in a jewelry box away from humidity is best.
Why bronze turns your skin green? The metal reacts with the oxygen in the air, your sweat and skin oils, its call oxidation. Don'y worry, simply keep your bronze jewelry clean and dry and remove any oil by washing it with dish soap.
The more you wear it the more it shines!
Keeping your jewelry clean will help with the prevention of oxidation turning your skin green. Simply cleaning it frequently with warm water and dishwashing soap keeps the jewelry bright. I always polish it with a clean polish cloth before I wear it. The cleaner you keep your bronze jewelry, the less likely it will oxidize.
