"Sometimes sculpture manages to accept contradictory forces, being a presence and a representation, a potential growth, and a fossilized history. Alessandra’s sculptural works are entrails exposed to the surface/air with disturbing ambiguity, a body’s possible organic machines, extensions, and excesses. These have progressions and repetitions of rhythms in organic growth. Their sizes correspond to the observer's scale, opening the possibility of understanding them as extensions of the body in suspension, their materiality announcing its fragility and vulnerability, inviting to be touched." - Cristobal Lehyt
